Her personality and intelligence quickly won us over. Her incredible biddability makes her a wonderful partner both in and out of the ring. More than once people have stopped us ringside to inquire as to her breed and compliment on her showy, upbeat attitude. Echo is affectionate to everyone, and does not have the typical aloof to strangers personality. In very limited showing, Echo has accomplished both her Champion and Grand Champion titles. Additionally, she has won multiple owner-handler group placements, as well as Pyrenean Shepherd Club of America Supported Entry wins. She received an Excellent Merit Evaluation, by French breeder judge Norbert Gainche. He stated that she was a beautiful foundation animal. She has worked on basics in agility, and we look forward to pursuing some performance events next. Echo produced four outstanding litters for us and is now retired from breeding. Her puppies have proven to be successful in both performance and conformation events. Their success has led to her being identified as being a Record of Merit Dam and Record of Merit Dam Versatility Awards for the Pyrenean Shepherd Club of America. Registration Number: DN62069708 (AKC) CHIC Number: 169662 Birthdate: March 31st, 2020 Breeder: Stephanie Schneider (Echo Ridge), Julie Steddom (La Rive) Color: Fawn Rosé is our bred by puppy that we kept from our Spring "R" litter out of Toro X Soleil. We were not planning on keeping a puppy, but this little girl managed to steal our hearts right away. She is incredibly fun, affectionate, and inquisitive. A friend took her to a Dock Diving pool, and little Rosé quickly took to water like she had been doing it forever. Rosé was entered in her first shows in Fall of 2020. She was piloted by Brendan Coleman to multiple major wins on her first weekend out. He did a stellar job presenting her to the fancy, and she quickly finished at just under 14 months old with a 5 pt major during the Pyrenean Shepherd National Week in May 2021. As a very young, new special she also made the cut at the 2021 National. In August 2021, she hit the ring with Donald and earned multiple BOS and select wins, and Champion defeats at the supported entry. They are well on their way to earning her Grand Championship. In October, 2021 she tried FastCAT for the first time, and immediately started earning qualifying runs towards her BCAT title. She earned her BCAT title in 2022, and has started earning qualifying runs towards her DCAT title. At the Pyrenean Shepherd 2022 National Specialty, handled by Billy Rodriguez, she made the cut among very competitive specials. She finished her Grand Champion title at the PSCA Supported Entry in Salem, VA in August 2022. Handled by her favorite person, Donald, they also earned two Owner-Handled Best of Breeds. We are eager to watch her continue to mature and grow, and anticipate playing in performance and conformation events with her in the future. She is confident, smart, and bold. She is a beautiful combination of her father Odin and her dam, Echo. Sequin started her show career at 6 months and 4 days old at the Mountain Valley Cluster in Salem, VA. Her first day in the ring she went WB/BOW over mature dogs and bitches for a 3 pt major from the Bred By class. She then was awarded WB from Bred By for a 5pt major at the Pyrenean Shepherd Club of America's Supported Entry. The judges were very complimentary of her. In addition, she started earning other titles! She earned her Canine Good Citizen Title at 7.5 months old and her Trick title at 8 months old. At the Pyrenean Shepherd National 2022 in Perry, GA she was awarded Best in Sweepstakes and Best Bred By Bitch. In addition, she received an Excellent Merit Evaluation under French Breeder Judge Alain Pecoult. Sequin finished in style going Best of Opposite over Specials at the PSCA Supported Entry in Salem, VA in August 2022. We are very proud of our girl and look forward to what her future holds. Sequin has been actively working on agility and earned her Herding Instinct Certificate in the Spring of 2024. She earned her S.T.A.R puppy certificate with AKC and is currently working on Scentwork. In March 2025, Lucy earned her first points towards her Championship.
